Welcome
CODEinfo Limited is a company that provides training, auditing and consultancy services to support clients in achieving accurate clinical coding. Our clients have included public (both provider and commissioner), independent sector, national, international organisations and commercial sector companies.
The necessity for accurate, timely and compliant data in the health sector has never been greater. In order to achieve an appropriate quality of data and to promote confidence in hospital data, Trusts are required as part of their Information Governance requirements, to demonstrate that clinical coders receive appropriate and training and to ensure that their data is regularly audited.
CODEinfo provides a range of customised services to support your achieving these goals.
What is clinical coding?
Clinical coding is the translation of clinical data into statistical code. The encoding schemes currently used in the UK are ICD-10 (4th edition) (The International Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems, 10th Revision) and OPCS 4 (OPCS Classification of Interventions and Procedures). The data produced is used to underpin payments and epidemiology.
